Rufus was born a confident puppy, he is very independent and likes to take the lead displaying no behaviors of dominancy. He submits well towards other dogs, loves rolling on his back as a peace greeting and is a very friendly and affectionate young boy! Rufus knows his sit, wait, come commands and walks very well on & off leash. He loves his food with a great passion and will take a ball or treats gently from your hands. He loves small children and will play gently beside them, he likes to go on long walks, loves to sniff lots of trees and scented flowers, he also likes to chase butterflies. Rufus loves his car rides, enjoys time spent at the beach with his humans and has ears to listen. He is very calm natured and will give you his ‘sobbing puppy eyes’ expression-look when he knows he’s in big trouble (which never really happens). Rufus is just a “happy boy” all round, loves his praises and is always eager to please his humans. He is indoor house trained, crate trained and food driven. Rufus is best suited to a home that’s always on the go, camping, beaches, parks, family gatherings he loves that kind of stuff. He’s definitely the ‘peoples dog’.
