We have followed Keysar on Facebook for quite some time. We saw a post about a boy named Sarge who needed an urgent foster home, and decided to meet him. Unfortunately he was overwhelmed by our two other dogs and we couldn’t take this beautiful boy home. But from our meeting with Sarge, we got a message from Ree asking if we could foster a younger pup named Shay. We drove out to Hunua to meet Shay, and she’s been our best mate and part of the pack ever since.
Shay is now 9 months old, and we couldn’t imagine life without her. She loves swimming, walks up our local Maunga, and definitely holds her own!
From Shay came our new baby – Mr Ghost. We saw a post from Keysar, saying she had so many pups without fosters and we put our hand up to foster two six week old babes who we have named Doja and Ghost.
Shay took them both under her wing, and took on the role as Mum. Over the last week, Shay and Ghost have formed an unbreakable bond. After realising that Ghost is completely deaf – we have decided to adopt him also. He is the sweetest boy in the world and we can’t wait until he can come on our outings.
Doja is super sweet, and looking for her forever home. As much as we would love to keep her we can’t wait to find her family who will shower her with love forever.
