Meet this handsome chap Henry, an incredible pup who’s currently available for adoption. He’s nearly five months old and has been fully house trained, crate trained and even cat trained, which is pretty amazing. Henry absolutely loves meeting new dogs and is getting much better at warming up to strangers every day. This little guy is an absolute dream—no chewing on everything, no biting, and he’s super fond of his toys. On top of all that, he’s a total cuddle bug and really enjoys a good walk in the park.
Since coming into foster care on December 4, 2025, Henry has grown so much and has really started to come out of his shell in leaps and bounds. He’s fully vaccinated, wormed monthly, and knows all his basic commands. Right now, he’s also learning some fun new tricks like ‘spin’ and ‘middle’ to keep his eager little mind busy. ‘Stay’ is still a work in progress, but he’s getting there.
What makes Henry even more special is his background—he’s one of the lucky six pups rescued from a terrible life of starvation and neglect. He’s a littermate to the three fortunate dogs in Orewa, so he truly deserves the best future possible.
