Meet the 10-year-old beauty, our senior Mama Kay. Her past was absolutely brutal & horrible, but she still has that spark of "hope" in her eyes that her people are out there somewhere.
Mama Kay is a bit fearful of men with heavy tones 😟, but I truly believe she’ll come around once she’s settled in and feels safe. She’s also a little unsure around other dogs, so a dog handler would be ideal for her. No collar pulling for our sweet Mama Kay, she’s TEN and deserves the gentlest care, so a harness would be best.
What she really needs now is a place to retire peacefully, to spend her golden years under a loving roof where she’s treated like family. Somewhere she can enjoy beach strolls and just chill out in front of the TV laying her head on somebody's lap. She absolutely loves children and is such a beautiful old soul that deserves everything wonderful at her paw tips.
Mama Kay was rescued with her son, who thankfully found one of the most amazing homes. Now Mama Kay stands alone... waiting... for that golden moment when her perfect family finds her.
There’s no adoption donation for Mama Kay, we just want to make sure her fragile paws land in the best home possible.
