Humans aren’t the only animals who learn languages, enjoy communicating with others, use tools, imagine, and dream. Other animals are much more unique and interesting than some humans give them credit for. We all remember information, play with friends, enjoy being close to those we love, talk about stuff that interests us, and mourn when loved ones die. Some other animals have capabilities that are way better than what humans can do, such as navigating (knowing which way to go), having endurance (being able to run farther for longer, for example), communicating, and more. Most importantly, we all want the same things: to be free and live in peace.

  • They can be themselves around their best friends
  • They have bad hair days
  • They won’t let a disability hold them back
  • They work together
  • They will fight for their lives
  • They love a warm blanket on a cold day
  • They like to play until they can’t play anymore
  • They love their parents
  • They want to know more about things that interest them
  • They jump for joy
  • They get scared
  • They love to snuggle with their family
  • They enjoy a nice bath
  • They are beautiful
  • They keep going
  • They want to be treated with kindness
